Typical Duties

-Must have extensive road, waterworks, and sewer construction experience
-Be able to coordinate construction activities for a project and ensure activities are executed in a safe, healthy, environmentally responsible and efficient manner
-Strength in identifying needs and deficiencies in looking ahead at the plan/schedule and communicating these to the appropriate persons
-Experience in overseeing the execution of the work, including quality and production, by ensuring that the crews work to job specifications and follow drawings
-Must be able to collaborate with Superintendent/Project Managers as to equipment needs, job procedures, manpower needs, job scope changes, or any issues that arise on the job site.
-Knowledge of safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, plans and specifications.
-Extensive knowledge of the materials and equipment required in mainline water & sewer projects

Desired Skills and Experience
-Minimum of 3 years experience in a construction leadership role
-Construction Health & Safety knowledge and experience
-Time management and organization skills

-A self-motivated personality that can be successful independently and in a team environment
