To become a Site Superintendent, you’ll need a high school diploma, at a minimum. Some roles require a college diploma in construction technology or a university degree in civil engineering.

Take on a leadership position, ask for promotions, and move up the ladder. Talk to your supervisors about your future goal of becoming a Site Superintendent. It takes a lot of on-the-job experience to get there.
If necessary, consider furthering your education through a multi-year degree program or a certification from the Canadian Construction Association (CCA).
