Job Overview:

As an Earth Boring HDD Direction Drill Locator/Tracker you are a skilled individual with tracking experience. As a HDD Tracker/Locator, you will be responsible for monitoring and tracking the progress of horizontal directional drilling projects, ensuring precise and accurate alignment of the drill, and providing real-time data to the drilling team utilizing the F5 or Falcon System. We utilize experienced in the day to operations of vertical drill equipment.

Responsibilities

Utilize, operate, and manage the F5 or Falcon Tracking System to monitor the location and progress of the horizontal directional drilling equipment.
Collaborate with the operator to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise with the tracking system during drilling operations.
Load and unload directional drill equipment in a manner that is secure and damage free.
Monitor the horizontal drilling progress using the tracking system and other relevant tools.
Assist in the maintenance and calibration of the tracking system and related equipment
Transport associated tools, materials and/or equipment in a safe manner .
Assist in completing construction projects in a safe, efficient, and timely manner.
Ensuring safety practices and procedures are observed and followed.
Communication of daily work, safety related issues and any other required project documentation.
Additional duties may be required.
Qualifications

5 years MTBM operation in a leadership role
Experience with HK tunnel systems
Experience with VMT navigation
Excellent troubleshooting and hands on resolution of MTBM related challenges
High degree of self-organization, flexibility, and communication skills
Strong understanding of Occupational Health & Safety Act, Regularion 213/91 and other applicable regulations
Demonstrated commitment to your team and the aims and goals of the company
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Take direction well and seek clarity in job duties and responsibilities
Keen sense of foresight and versatility and a track record for creative problem solving
Compensation: Per Union
