We are seeking a motivated Assistant Project Supervisor to join our team and grow under the mentorship of an experienced Project Supervisor in the Heavy Civil construction industry. This role is ideal for individuals looking to develop their career with an industry-leading construction company.
Main Duties:
• Support the Project Supervisor in managing daily operations and coordinating resources on numerous sewer and watermain infrastructure projects
• Assist in overseeing subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
• Monitor construction progress and report on daily activities.
• Help enforce safety protocols and maintain a secure work environment.
• Assist with documenting project details, preparing reports, and attending meetings.
• Learn and apply construction management principles under guidance.
Required Qualifications:
• Prior experience in construction or related field preferred.
• Strong willingness to learn and grow in the Heavy Civil construction industry.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Basic understanding of construction processes and safety practices.
• Post secondary education in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related fields is a plus.
Education Requirements:
• Completed post-secondary education in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
