Role Requirements

To become a Project Manager, you’ll need to meet the following requirements.

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Some roles require a college degree in construction technology or a university degree in civil engineering

What You’ll Do

  • Plan, schedule, organize, direct, control, and evaluate construction projects from start to finish
  • Coordinate internal resources and vendors to ensure flawless execution
  • Deliver all projects on time, within scope, and within budget
  • Take the proper steps to verify changes in project scope, schedule, and costs
  • Use appropriate tools to measure project performance
  • Report issues and escalate them to management when necessary
