MTBM Labourer/Pitt Bottom Experience

Location: Burlington and GTA
Responsibilities:

Assist with setup, operation, and maintenance of Micro Tunnel Boring Machine (MTBM) systems
Perform labour duties at pitt bottom, including material handling and site preparation
Support pipe jacking and slurry system operations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
Follow all health and safety regulations, especially in confined spaces
Assist mechanics and operators with tools and equipment as required
Monitor and report any equipment issues or safety hazards
Participate in daily safety meetings and adhere to site procedures

Qualifications

Proven experience working at pitt bottom in microtunneling or shaft environments
Previous MTBM or tunneling experience is a strong asset
Valid confined space certification (required)
Knowledge of construction safety standards and PPE requirements
Ability to perform physically demanding work in tight, underground conditions
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Willingness to work shifts, overtime, and in varying weather conditions
