Aquatech is adding a Project Coordinator to support our rapidly expanding team. This role includes reviewing project scheduling and all initial project set up details. You will work closely with Operations Team in ensuring manpower and equipment requirements are filled and projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Upon contract award, complete full assessment of coordination requirements from project schedule, budget, manpower, through to equipment availability.
  • Assist Project Manager with addressing customer requirements, permit and compliance requirements.
  • If required or directed, attend the site to confirm final layout.
  • Ensure locates and other site-specific requirements and health and safety submissions are completed.
  • Set up job folders on network and other software programs.
  • Liaise with inventory for equipment requirements (purchasing, transfers, availability etc…)
  • Prepare and issue vendor purchase orders as per policy.
  • Collect, review for accuracy, and file all field paperwork; follow up when missing or inaccurate information is submitted.
  • Review timesheets to ensure they match field paperwork submissions and project budgets.
  • Support team in communication/coordination, and ensuring we meet all performance, schedule, compliance, and budget requirements.
  • Support Project Managers in reviewing tenders, proposal preparation and quoting change orders.

Qualifications

  • Diploma/degree in Resource Drilling, Environmental Technician, Construction Management, or related experience an asset.
  • Preferably 2 plus years’ experience in a construction environment.
  • Experience in drilling, pumping equipment and water treatment is an asset
  • Very organized, heightened attention to detail, and punctual to deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Strong on Excel) would be an asset
  • Sporadic exposure to outdoor weather, shop and job site conditions
  • Valid Ontario G Drivers License and clean abstract.
